Equality Florida Action PAC has big goals to help us WIN in Florida this year! While everyone is talking about the upcoming Presidential election, EQFL reminds us that there are down ballot elections that are also important to our community goals.
Goal #1: Break the Republican Supermajority in the Florida House. To do this, we have to flip just 5 seats. Breaking the supermajority will greatly reduce the extreme laws coming out of Tallahassee.
Goal #2: Triple the number of LGBTQ state legislators from 2 to 6. We’ve already had our first victory with champion Carlos Guillermo Smith elected to the Florida Senate this June!
Goal #3: Take back our school boards from extremists. We’ve targeted six priority boards where we can make the difference to ensure a pro-equality majority. A million students in these districts are counting on us.
